MEET JEFFREY MIDDLETON
American pianist Jeffrey Middleton graduated from the Juilliard School and received his Doctor of Musical Arts from The Yale School of Music. His career has included chamber music, solo performances, vocal coaching and accompanying and teaching. His debut recital at Weill Hall at the prestigious Carnegie Hall was presented by Artists International Inc. In addition to the music of J.S. Bach, Jeffrey has a special interest in the music of living composers and recorded piano music of Joseph Fennimore and chamber music of George Walker. He has toured Taiwan, Switzerland and South Africa among other countries. In 2021 Jeffrey received the Mae L. Wien Faculty Award for distinguished service from the School of American Ballet, where he retired after thirty six years on the faculty. For more than 20 years he was the vocal coach and accompanist for Soprano Betty Allen’s Master Voice Class at the Harlem School of the Arts. In 2023, Albany Records released his fourth recording ‘Jeffrey Middleton plays Fennimore and Debussy’ which included the complete Etudes of Debussy. Last year Albany also re-issued his acclaimed recording of Bach’s The Well Tempered Clavier Book 2.
VISIT JEFFREY'S PROFILE AT WESTBETH HOME TO THE ARTS

On June 12th, 2021 Raguel successfully launched RTG Productions (using the initials of his three names) with the performance of his first fully classical recital, streamed live from Merkin Hall, New York City. Receiving viewership from around the globe, he sang Franz Schubert's entire Schwanengesang, accompanied by American pianist, Dr. Jeffrey Middleton. Inspired by his love for the night and all it emcompasses and the words to Schubert's haunting meditation 'Nacht und Traume', Raguel presented 'Night and Dreams' the follow up to Schwanengesang in New York City on November 5th, 2023. The fully French, poignant and pensive program 'Absence' followed in the winter of 2024, again in New York City at Greenwich House.
Under the banner of his personally conceived 'RTG', Raguel intends to express himself organically and timely, inspired by his present journey and life.
This spring, Raguel returns to Trinidad eight years after he last took to the stage there, for Night and Dreams 2, a classical recital, accompanied once again by Jeffrey Middleton.
